Experience

I began kayaking when I was ten years old. My first years were laborious, I often fell in the water. I then tried C1, I got to like it in succession. I made some competition slalom and descent during some years by winning several times regional titles. I put myself in the freestyle in 2005, always in C1. The first year when I made the French championship gave me envy to continue and to progress. Indeed, for a first season in competition, I ended fifth French. Next year, in 2007, I made all the races of the French circuit, it me classifying always in five finalists, by winning even a race, what offered me my first national title. The next year, a single thing in my head: the selection in national team to go to European championships and to the World Cup. Everything took place for best for I succeeded in selecting. First international race of my small career, European championships to Ourense in Spain in 2008. First happy experience because I end fourth in C1 and third in Open Canoe. Of return of these championships, small passage in France for finale of the French championship, where I win a second national title. World cups come then, Prague (Czech Republic) where I am classified ninth, Augsburg (Germany) seventh and Thun (Switzerland) fifth. I meet seventh in the world classification at the conclusion of three competitions. Next year, I succeed once more in selecting in French team to go to compete for World championships in Switzerland in September, 2009. I am not very satisfied with my place, fifteenth, but I wish to everybody such an experience. Which moreover gave me a lot of motivation to pull me. I hope to meet in 2011 to Plattling, for world championships in hole, my practice of preference. In parallel in the freestyle, I always make C1 slalom for the regional and national level, and recently I began creeking, in kayak.
